more on Inawashiro

This is the photo of the rice field taken during sunset in Inawashiro. Along the way from after Tokyo to Inwashiro, we saw many farmers busying harvesting their crops. Dad had captured and video the scene of their harvesting process as I was still asleep in the car...

After checking in our hotel, we went for our dinner at a nearby town about 15mins drive. The raman is a chain store from 喜多方 or kitakata. Initially we intend to drive to 喜多方 about 40 mins away from Inawashiro but due to limited time and we are leaving for Nikko which is the other direction so we skip 喜多方. Luckily, we found this food outlet to meet our craving. The ramen is super and inexpensive too! Mum especially love the preserves vegetables and rice. Simply delicious she said. I love the Gyoza and had been eating lots and lots it, hmm...YUM!

Mum even bought a box of ramen from this store to cook in Singapore. Great!
